I'll have to disagree. Hortilux EYE is a great bulb no doubt but I've been very happy with the Ushio HiLux Gro Red that I'm running now.

I had that style of Microscope before but always had problems keeping it steady myself.

I spent $80 on the Microscope/Stand combo but it was worth it to get a scope that can take 1600x1200 shots.

Sorry, came into this thread late. Here's the type of shot I get from my USB microscope. I'm using this type of scope. The stand really makes a big difference in being able to get a good focus. I also got the 2mp scope.

For that size tent I'd go with the 1000w then.

I tried sidelights before and decided it just wasn't worth it. Other factors have to go into account too, size of room, number of plants. Going with a 1000w doesn't do you any good if it overheats your grow area to much.

So my goal is to still have the RH at 60% when I vacuum seal. It may drop a little with the burping but when I burp, I only leave it open for ~10 seconds before sealing it up again.
