I've got seedlings and clones going in OF now. Soil does run hot so I usually don't start using nutes until they are well established.

If you're talking about flowering under it, I'd do something like a SoG where you can keep the lights real close to the top. I found T5s to not have much penetration power.

They can work, you're line just has to be very unrestricted. No carbon filter and very little bending which makes it hard to light proof.

I already vacuum seal mine and haven't had any issues but I also dry a little longer than optimal. A combination of vacuum seal and oxygen absorber might let me hit a higher humidity level. I think I'll try it out.

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking to. I can tell by the dimpled tab that it's still vacuum sealed. I think I will label it with today's date and my estimate of 18-28 months old. That way when I find the jar in a year, I won't be stumped again.
