I was @ HD today looking at work lights, you know the portable work lights that use halogen bulbs. So I was thinking for $16.00 I could have a 500watt light. So the question is does that halogen light work the same as the pricie lights(mh, hid)??? Could i use that simple $16.00 light fixture...

I don't see why not. Keeping them in water kept them from getting too much air so as long as they're still looking good. Go for it, just make sure you pour a little gel in a shot glass and dip them in that and not the gel jar. Peace
