And also to match th3 same area 8n cuft with 600w compared to a 100w so when ur talking 12kw of lighting the 1kw are more efficient. Especially so if vertical or DE
Hortiluxurious is well known for building bulbs optimal for magnetic ballast.
think bout it
Different manufacturers diff3rent but similar tactics across the board
Just. Checked the frequency levels of several electric ballast including phillips, they are all 2khz. So a cording to this any electronic ballast should be able.
On another note. frequency filter(rectifiers) on cheap electronic ballasts, I remember reading about an updated design.
I'll give you another great example I was researching light bulbs and was bout to jump to a ceramic halide, but I had forgot about quartz.
Found this hidden gem...
I'm just bashing the high frequency lie.
Even of you ran a DE with an electromagnetic ballast you still gain elevated arc temp, just not to the same degree As a high frequency ballast.
I'm getting x2 de myself and I will be using a digital ballast to take advantage of hood design in maintaining high arc tube temps. Planning on spending about 200 per light will probably build my own hoods, and buy decently priced and made digital ballasts. most expensive part is the bulbs. :/...
