the only way that i have seen this happen is by over feeding much larger plants than the ones you have pictured. large plants will suck down a moderate amount of water even when the ppm is higher than they would like, thus increasing ppm substantially. this cannot be the case in your situation...

are you saying you start at 400 ppm (200+200) and after a few days your at 700? with plants that small i would suspect that you may not be getting an accurate reading initially. try mixing better and letting the nutrients sit for a couple hrs before testing and adding them.

how do you like the pondzyme? have you used other enzyme products to compare?

yeah you can always dial things by watching your ppm diligently...but i wouldn't stray too far from what you're doing now from the looks of things.

1.2 ec in veg isnt too crazy if you have fairly large plants. is the plant in a small container? i've seen ec drop and ph fluctuate like that in veg when my plants get too big for the 5 gallon totes that i start them in. as plants absorb nutrients they excrete hydroxyl anions or hydrogen ions...

what stage of growth are they in? in my own experience i see ph rise and ec drop during veg and first 2 weeks of bloom due to nitrogen consumption. around week 2 of flower potassium seems to be the salt of choice, causing ph drop and ec drop.
