No misinformation at all, i believe that your suggestion of watering with it is good. Top dressing although difficult is not impossible...maybe it can be mixed with another amendment and better spread that way! Or mix it with some soil and top dress with the soil mix plus the humic powder.

I have Pow Humus by Humitech, and application for soil is: 0.1 - 0.5 kg/m³. Problem with top dressing is that you must use a very little quantity so it's difficult to spread it all across the soil.

Peat and EWC are rich in humic substances as far as i know. So the powdered humic acid is most used as a bio stimulant with some spaced applications during lifespan of the plant. I mean, if you are concerned about those substances in your soil, they should already be there and let the soil do...

Green mycelum is trichoderma. The thing growing could be something from the EWC/compost if you didn't add any seed or cover crop.
