How long do you dry for and cure same as bud pretty much? Just until it looks like a shroom is supposed to look dried not to dry or moist then cure. 7 day dry around there maybe a little more or few days less?
Do you cure mushrooms or let them dry same as bud? Would you recommend a jar anybody? Because last time we grew mushrooms we just ate them as is without drying or curing to get a dry weight
Ok cool I’m glad someone gave me an alternative I was thinking if I ever do hydro I’ll just use fresh water with live enzymes from nature at a spring source with a even ph and no bad bacteria content.
I grew up in nj so we used well water but not from a pull string well we filtered it they usually do but the best water is even natural water from farms exc. or nature. I’m in PA now and the water isn’t as good near Philly but it’s still not bad out in the country side like areas.
At a farm near me they have uv light filtered ground water that they sell for drinking so it works on plants too it’s like 1.25 for 2.5 gallons so it’s fairly cheap to use on your garden just a thirty minute drive
Yea I like coco the flavor is good and quality is good I like the idea of hydro it sounds cool but I might stick with soil and coco for now. I didn’t know that about water temperature but it makes sense.
Ph and feeding I know is different but like coco you can feed easily so that’s the one thing they have in common but with rdwc you gotta be more exact or you can raise the ph to high or feed to much and have to replace the water or something. which you might already know but I’m just adding in...
So they should look different, they still need to develop on that main cola as you can see, it should be a fat bud when it’s finished, the trichs will be cloudy like that and then some should be a little more amber. On some of them and you’re set.
Yea that was what I used when starting growing my first real time I got results. but I want to step it up. That taught me light matters and can use a better light for more yield probably. I wonder what a 250 watt cfl would be able to create in terms of yield.
Ok because I see some people on here using it for full cycle, maybe it’s not the best but good point @Billy the Mountain you don’t see any really they’re all from years ago
I grew cfl before and was wondering how much others have gotten out of them I used like 6 or 7 lights from the store just the regular kind of each soft and bright I hooked up as many lamps as I could find but that was the makeshift way I did it. What are some of RIU’s results and how did you...
Nice, the water you can get off this site is drinkable and might be near by it’s about a 30 minute drive for me to get to the farm where they have really good water I drink it personally there’s always someone there when I am getting drinking water. I’m gonna try it in the garden it’s living...
I have a question for @Minnegrowta How do you fix the soil in your in ground beds? I’m interested in growing in ground and want to know how. And do you make compost teas? What do you do to keep it thriving in other words.
