Yeah I've always wanted to get one of those to photograph my drysift cuz this is as close as I can get with the camera. I'd love to look at it under a scope.

That's the best/preferred way to do it. Snip off a leaf and check it under regular lighting. The color of the HPS can be misleading when looking at your trichome ripeness. Plus you won't me smashing and smearing trichomes everywhere on a bud. It's kind of like bruising fruit. 60x works...

Trichomes absolutely do grow in size over time and yes some strains produce bigger and smaller trichomes than others. Environment can also play a factor.

Beautiful looking plant there. No doubt about that. But what is the picture supposed to prove other than that? Frost does not equate potency. Trichomes are not created equally. It's more about specifically what's inside the trichomes.

for all the reasons mentioned already. low potency, can't clone, can't top, can't transplant..... really what's the point with them other than growing outdoors at extreme latitudes? ONLY people I have ever seen claim autos are as good as photos are autoflower fanboys.
