I don't think it will give you a headache assuming it's hemp as stated above. I don't smoke tobacco so I roll my spliffs with Knaster Hemp which you can buy at the headshop. It doesn't give me a headache.

My initial guess is lack of light. Put it in a south facing window if you live in the northern hemisphere. The more light the better. It will recover in less than a day if it gets the right light.

I can't really see any mold. The one time I had a mold issue the bud just broke apart when I barely started pulling some off. It was black on the inside and definitely no question whether is was moldy or not. I'd like to see what your stuff looks like on the inside of one of the bigger buds.
