This guy really knows what he speaks of, and I agree with him 100%, I also change out my res every week to keep problems at bay, and guess what guys NO TDS meter and I never check my PH and no problems. Secret is a clean and well maintained res. Never add nutes, just change the res out EVERY TIME.

I worked in hay when I was younger, you keep it wet like MJ needs, and mold will show up prob wind up with root rot also. I wouldn't advise it.

Yup what he said. I never add to my res (unless its plain water) and I change every 7-10 days when I up my nutes, I always rinse off my roots and gear to make sure I remove the salts. I dont have a TDS meter and have yet to have a problem other than shitty ass mold.
