I used to just tuck the fan leaves a bit to allow the lights to penetrate the lower tops. Works great, although I did have to tuck them again daily. :lol: Now I do the LST thing. I'd personally suggest gently tying them rather than pinching/bending... much less chance of stress on the plant...

I keep a cigarette snuffer in my ash tray... I'm almost always done before it gets a chance to burn out on its own, and I certainly don't like wasting any of it. :lol: The snuffer puts it out within one to two seconds, then I use a cigar cutter before relighting it. I prefer eating it, though...

Perhaps because the father comes off as a tyrant, so the mild-mannered son is more appealing to the masses? :mrgreen: Plus there's the younger face... fresh meat, if you will. :lol:

I slid a paper clip over a broken stem to work as a frame for a splint, then wrapped some tape around it. It not only repaired itself, but it became the strongest point on the plant. :D Photo is of a smaller stem I'd broken near a node (making it difficult to just tape), just for a visual. ;)

There aren't drain holes in the cups. Before noticing this, I first noticed that the soil for all the cuttings looks pretty soggy. Seedlings and cuttings need the medium to drain just as much as fully rooted plants do. I'm guessing she could be drowning... First thing I'd do is carefully...

I use domes for cloning. Just clear plastic cups with ventilation holes so they don't suffocate; you want the RH to stay up, but still want them to breathe. ;) If I leave the dome off for more than, say, five or ten minutes and the clone doesn't droop or wilt, etc., then I know it'll be fine to...
