i think its also depends on the roots... because sometimes the roots get ripped when they fall over... it can live through some root damage.. but... the stem did get damaged also, so thats a lot of stress... have to wait and see...

by you having it on a window sill, its gonna stretch till it falls over... i don't think you want that... i switch containers when there are way too many roots at the bottom... if your room is hazy from smoke, it sounds like you have poor ventilation, which isn't good for the plants cfl's...
