number 2 is your best bet, my friend does that, he has a plant that sits in full sun from morning till he brings it in at 6pm in a dark closet, the plant is the juiciest fucking pineapple indica ive ever seen, stickier than fuckin fly paper....but even if u left it outside for god knows how long...
