The root damage may hurt her, and MG can easily be overdone but many people have great success with it. Just cross your fingers and hope for the best. She may really take off now that she has good lighting. That new soil will give her some nutes also so I would hold off on any more nutes for...

Okay, so I am going to start flowering Ashley. Problem is I got my schedule screwed up again. I was planning to do 24 hours of darkness but forgot that that would mean her current dark time will now be the light time. I even had been backing her up an hour every couple of days to make it work...

I'm guessing it's under trees, right? Looks like she is getting enough sun if she's been out there since May and that's as big as she is. I don't know what you could do for her beside open up the tree canopy some, or dig her up and move her to a better lit area or even inside. If you dig her up...

Here's a great link for mushroom hunting. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h3FV_YbjlYI&feature=related Apparently the best sign is when you take a spore print it should be purple. At least for psylociben mushrooms. After watching that I realized just how many times I've seen magic mushrooms...

I have two good tower fans I moved into the room and they help with the temps. One is pointed at the new box and I have found it works better it I put it at the corner. It covers more surface area of the box and blows cool air at one intake. If I have it just pointing at one long side the temps...

    My First Grow

Looking really good. Not many white hairs left, but don't rush it. She can always start throwing out some new growth and get even bigger.

I guess all I had to do was stop using the fans inside and I would have had far fewer problems the past few weeks.

The sensor is on the back of the unit so it is up against the wall. Then the outside sensor is on a wire that I lead to the other side of the box and it is in a small black enclosure. Bother are reading exactly 83.3 right now and the cheap plastic thermometer is reading around 84. Light is...

Well the other cabinet dropped to 79 and the round one came up to 84 and change. So I took the 60w out of the round one and put it in the rectangular one. Rectangle box has three 40w, the 60w, and a 26w daylight. Basically just added the 60w to it and moved around some of the bulbs. It may end...

Haha, I had unplugged the fans in the round box as a test since the lights were on. The temps went from 84, 81, and 83 to 82, 82, 82. Overall it is a reduction so maybe I should keep them off. It might have been creating hot pockets. I had read so many times to have a fan pointed at your lights...

I'll turn off the fan and give it a shot when the lights come on. In my round box I point them at the lights and it definitely helps to keep the box cool. I figured if I never let the lights get too hot by having fans blowing on them it would keep it cooler, but if they are heating up anyways...

Heat is a little better. After being on all day it was 91, but when I opened the box they were all droopy from dehydration. When I picked them up though they were still heavy from water on the bottom of their pots. So I went ahead and watered them and they bounced back within 30 minutes. I had...

    Chain's Chronic Perptual

About a week before that I had one and tripped fairly hard. I was surprised because people usually make chocolates to stretch their shrooms. From what I hear they usually only have like 2g or so in them. Although it does make them a lot easier to eat. I also heard that dark chocolate and orange...

I had chocolate shrooms in the shape of a heart before. My friends backed out of doing them so I ate four when we went to see the midnight showing of Terminator Salvation. Completely packed but I held my shit together. I was sweating balls, rocking back and fourth, laughing nonstop and going...

I'm not surprised though. I wasn't exactly careful with them for the beginning of their lives. They weren't in a sealed box so they never had a perfect dark period and the extreme heat probably stressed the hell out of them. For all they have been through I'm surprised it's not worse. Maybe I'll...
