    Nutes on a Budget

Hi Fellas! The "recipe for success" is just a gimmick to make you buy more pretty bottles. Basic complete nutrition is all you need. * 'Organic' doesn't mean 'good' or even 'better.' In the case of reliable, repeatable, constant harvest ops, inorganic nutes are superior as you can use H2O2...

    Potassium Deficiency? Or Heat stress?

Credit the following to Uncle Ben. Thread here: https://www.rollitup.org/marijuana-plant-problems/150004-plant-moisture-stress-symptoms-solutions.html 1. Over-fertilizing - the most common cause of leaf cupping aka leaf margin rolling, leaf margin burn, and leaf tip curl/burn is the...

    First plant. Need help

Preach! :hump: the box itself looks ok but your lighting and ventilation still need work. Get the environment perfect before you even think about seeds or nutrients. 3 Rules: 1. Environment is everything. 2. Genetics is everything else. 3. Focus on Rule #1 First I'm militant about using...

FNB bottle is 4-8-7. Same mix. Late bloom N deff comes on when there is a shortage of N that begins way earlier. The lack of N I'm seeing in late bloom is actually starting as wk 2-3. If i have nice thick green lower leaves when the N does begin to mobilize to new growth there is much more of...

I've got several albums full of shots like that using Lucas formula. I see some of the same issues I had tho. Bottom pic looks great but i did not see a problem till about wk 6 and those are earlier than that. The 1st pic is nice and frosty, usually is, but its a really tight shot. How does the...

Don't mean to get off track here so i'll head over to your journal to comment on your current run. This not your recent harvest? https://www.rollitup.org/grow-journals/259429-ultimate-lowryder-grow-7.html#post3307265 It does not add to the discussion to blow real results out of proportion.

Again, We all know the Lucas Formula. :) I've found it deficient in N and micros. Causes pre-mature lower drop on most strains I've tried. Until recently, i just accepted this as ok because I was not properly thinking about how the plant ticks. If your experience with Lucas is different...

:shock::shock: Something smells funny. Thats .75 gpw from autos. Pardon me if I ask if that was wet weight. :hump:. The total you posted in your journal sounds better ;) Want fast money? Basics. It is only as hard as you make it. Nobody is suggesting you spend years studying...

The genetics of today's high potency seeds did indeed come from the classics. Of course they did. Where else would they come from. Are they higher THC% now? Yes, absolutely. I've seen several reports stating that the THC% has increased many fold in the last 25 years. The beans you buy have...

I've been using the Lucas Formula for a long time now and have found it lacking in Nitrogen and Micros. In both soil/coco and hydro. My plants don't lie, unlike marketing departments and shysters selling sugar water without a real GA of whats in it. "Trust us, it's good for the plant." I agree...

Yield and product quality is about Environment and Genetics. NOT NUTRIENTS. Thx. I am a legal grower and have been form some time. Any exceess salts stored after harvest are stored in the leaves anyway. You trim close right? Then whats the question? I'm switching as soon as I run outta the GH...

I'm getting pretty tired of the Lucas Formula to be honest. Not enough Nitrogen or micro nutes. For hydro i recommend Dyna-Grow Grow and Bloom. Use the grow till wk 3 of bloom and then switch.

Hello fellow CO growers. Mile high baby. I'm in the FortCollins/Loveland. Currently growing Durban, Euphoria U, Elephant, WhiteBerry and SuperGirl. Hydro right now but have done soil and coco multiple times in the past as well. Couple of things to point out about what i've read so far. The 6...

May not like the message but you can't deny the SCIENTIFIC principles behind everything UB says. Marketing and feel-good additives are for suckers. I've been there too. SPending too much for too little then buying additives to supply natural elements the plant will make on it's own given enough...
