    Pcc offical update thread

Sorry it's been a while since I updated. Power Kush A little yellow...turns out 16oz of soil doesn't hold much nutrients...who knew? Probably going to amend with a little high N guano to help stabilize that front. OG18xSkunk Also a little yellow...nothing a little guano can't remedy...

Blue Cheese, PPP, Thai SS...Jerry's Second Grow

Here we go... Blue Widow BW again LSD I LSD I again... LSD II (I think...) LSD II again. Chiesel Chiesel again... PPP. Notice in this and the next pic how much more yellow leaves are on this compared to the other 4 plants. That's because I transplanted the others into larger...

    breeding using feminised seeds??

I've been curious of this as well War...thanks for creating the thread. Junocheeba, that is a pretty nice first post! +rep and welcome to RIU! Has anyone out there actually attempted to breed with fem seeds though? I would like to hear some first hand testimonials...

Powerplant w/brn spots & yellow leaves +REP for help

Also, who is the breeder of your powerplant? I have some G13 Labs PPP I've been growing for a few months. It's a very hearty plant.

Powerplant w/brn spots & yellow leaves +REP for help

Maybe a calcium or magnesium or trace element deficiency. Get some cal-mag or cal-mag+ and use per directions...should help... Could also be a nitrogen deficiency if you're only feeding bloom nutrients. Try upping the nitrogen in addition to adding some cal-mag.

12" Till she hits the glass.....It's day 12 can I make it?

That's perfect! The first pic shows it pretty well. Good work.

12" Till she hits the glass.....It's day 12 can I make it?

YES! I love supercropping and use it exclusively to prevent my flowering plants from hitting the reflector glass. I go down 3,4,5+ nodes and bend the stem at a 90 degree right angle. You can "crush the herd" as I've heard it called where you squeeze the stem at the point you wish to bend...

Blue Cheese, PPP, Thai SS...Jerry's Second Grow

Honestly I'm not real good with getting final weights...I have this terrible tendency to smoke it before I get a chance to get a total weight. However, I did weigh most of the PPP before moving it into jars, and it was something on the order of 40 grams. Granted there are still some smaller...

Coco grow - Super Silver Haze, Blue Cheese and Trainwreck

Snow, I went ahead and ordered a set of 5-gallon "sprung bags." After doing some research I concluded that I really wanted some bags, but I didn't want to pay some ridiculous amount for "bubble bags." Many people seem to like these bags and they are only $79 including shipping to the US (I...

Blue Cheese, PPP, Thai SS...Jerry's Second Grow

Thanks cap. The Chiesel turning purple is probably a combination of cooler day and night temps (it's winter) and flushing/light feeding towards the end. The PPP was also VERY purple at harvest. It is also likely a genetic thing with the Chiesel...some strains are just more apt to change...

    Experienced soil growers [rep]

I have 2 GHS Fem Trainwrecks growing in the same medium, same container, under the same light source, watered at the same times and one is perfectly healthy while the other is droopy. I've waited until the soil was totally dry to water, and saw no change after watering. The leaves are just big...

2 week babies turn yellow and then become dry PLEASE HELP (pics inc)

Yeah, I think the BioHeaven was $100 for 1L. 45 Euro is a good deal I think...or my store was really trying to rip someone off. Sucks about your restricted access to equipment and seeds, but I'm glad you're making the most of what you've got. Growing bagseed isn't bad, it just isn't as good...

rep if you used a veg spec bulb in flowering what would happen? rep

I like to alternate between mh and hps for flower. I just switch out my bulb every other week or so. Though I like to use MH for the first couple weeks of flower, as I've read this will limit the "stretch." I think that's a bunch of bull, as they stretch no matter which light I use, but I...

2 week babies turn yellow and then become dry PLEASE HELP (pics inc)

You're right...you do have everything you need already, it's just putting it all together. Use the CFL's if that's what you prefer. I veg with 26w CFL's and it works great for me. Just keep the plants as close as possible to the lights...which may mean doing a slight re-arrange of your setup...

2 week babies turn yellow and then become dry PLEASE HELP (pics inc)

I feel you. There's so much info out there it is easy to get overwhelmed and feel the need to do everything perfect. But you just have to remember you are growing a plant, and it just needs a few things to grow...light, water, food, and a good medium. Let's focus on getting these initial...

    Am I Watering Too Much???

Again, 1 quart per gallon is a good rule of thumb...not necessarily one that needs to be followed to a "T." The reason you give 1 quart per gallon is to ensure you saturate the entire soil mass. Water can easily bypass the soil by traveling down the sides of the pot and out of your drainage...
