    tried that milaukee and either there was a bad batch or they suck. tried one, it fried, tried another, fried even quicker. try the red Hanna checker-is cheap around 40 and is pretty decent but not waterproof so dont dunk it. yes you need the 7.01 calibration and you should get the 4.01 as well...

    wouldnt say you can expect to see trichs in 3rd week of flowering but if they are shiny and dark and delayed budding than it sounds like you have been giving too much nitrogen along with a light leak. post some pics

    I looked at those links. looks like you did your homework-nice job. keep reading and learning and applying. as for the height, prob want around 4 feet so you can adjust the lights enough-the more the better for room to manipulate. also you may not to do all your preliminary drying in that area...

    nitrous is dead on with the lime and perlite. just make sure you dont overwater. most ppl have bad experiences with mg b/c they nute on top of it and overwater and overfeed with additional ferts. baby steps sounds good. remember your biggest problems will come from overwatering.

    u prob wont have an issue-at all-do they smell now? they prob wont than. end of 3rd - 5 th week flowering than you may have to worry about odor control-the hotter the temp-the more they will smell

    has to be the nutes in the soil getting flushed out quicker than without u r soil/hydro or 'sodro'. thats nute burn. leaf tip contorting-overfert of n, burning worsened if using mh. or could be not enough 02 in the root zone for this sensitive early warning sign plant. why use the soil?
