thats not a bad idea, but if you sold the 2 400w's, you could get the electric down from 1400w, to 1200w with 2 600watters. But with you idea, i would try to stick the 600w in the middle, and the 400w ones on each side.

in a 4X4 area, how much yield should i expect to increase. currently get about 8 oz at a time under the 600w. I don't cool the lamp either, so with 1000w im sure i would need to increase the cooling. Any rough estimates would be cool. Especially people who have up'd from a 600 to a 1000

i wouldnt want "irregular lighting", keep things 18/6. However, u can go in everyone once in a while during the dark cycle for vegging without problems. You can even keep light on 24 hours if you want.
