im building an 8x8x8 grow tent out of 2x2's and 2 sided black and white plastic. Im buying 4 1000w hps lights with air cooled hoods. I plan on connecting all 4 lights tgether with 6" ducting and a 550cfm carbon filter at the end with passive intake vents.I found a 440cfm exhaust fan for 60 bucks...

Transplanted the girls into 5 gallon fabric pots.4 more weeks until flower.I added a third wheel to this grow, the gsc mom.ill be flowering her along with the other two. i took a clone as her replacement.

No, i dont ph adjust my solution anymore. I found that without using pro-tekt (base) the solution come out little acidic. I used the protekt to raise ph, but i havent had a single problem since i stopped doing that.

this one isnt really part of this grow but i had to post a pic of my newest addition to kushdaddys strain treasure chest. ;) Gorilla glue #4! traded a couple girl scout clones for it.

think i found a solution to my humidity issue. Its a personal ultrasonic mister, should be small enough to fit on the shelf next to the heater ;)

i feel like if i just keep them watered they can pretty much transpire all the water they want lol im aiming for 40% humidity during flowering but since my humidifier is sitting outside the flower room theres a buffer time for the humidity to increase, but by the time i get the humidity and vdp...

ideally i want the vdp to be on low end around 1.2 to 1.4 max,but when the lights go on the air dries out and vdp climbs to 1.8 -2.0. Its not a bad thing id say, but higher vdp will cause more transpiration and accordingly more water uptake.

its really tricky! the slightest temperature or humidity swing and the vdp goes crazy lol
