What do people think about using a HPS for a few weeks of vegging? What have people noticed is the difference between veggin with an HPS as opposed to a MH? And/or lastly, Am i better off getting a Conversion bulb for my HPS set up, or just stickin with the HPS? Thanks a lot in advance. - yota

Did u guys read my post? They are in flower, they are 2 weeks into flower already, and they are only this size...they seem too small atm!!?? Can anyone see if they are small or not for 2 weeks?

So does this seem small for day 12? i think my previous grows by 2 weeks, pretty much filled up the whole 4x4 space and were taller....

and the plants are only about 18 inches tall, some are more like 12....im worried that they are gonna be too small, should i expect much vertical growth in the next few weeks? I already see some flower starting, and im no noob to growing, but this time they seem significantly smaller at this...

what if u started flowering now....i started my recent session when they were about your size atm. Im fearing that they are gonna be really small...

thats good to know...do you find that doing more shorter plants yeilds more than less plants that have been vegged to grow bigger?

ya supposedly, but i haven't read one thing from anyone saying they get anywhere near that. So i was hoping for some real life accounts and numbers from people...not just some grow book hearsay.

Dude, if your not an electrician, don't build your own ballast...thats a sure "fire" way to burn your house down. Its worth the 100-200 dollars to get a reliable one. as for your ballast question. I would get electric HPS ballasts and get MH conversion bulbs (instead of the other way around...
