She was on 16-8 in the closet same as the big room is now
I was planning on switching to 12-12 in another 2 weeks or so for the photo period girls
Do you think she'll do okay with them?
I can smell the tropical already when I rub the stem, fruity.
I was planning on SCROG but one (out of 3) turned into a runt and I have a Wonder Woman in the room also that I brought back from the dead that is now a bush so I'm just going to see how they flower to learn for SCROG next time
I've...
I have two that I topped at the fourth node (I think) then let grow for a bit and LSTed with fencing wire so there's four mains.
They're around 3 weeks old now

OK so my brief foray into the CFL world has come to an end in a whopping 17 days.
She's a healthy seedling but just I want her to reach the full potential of what I can offer so I moved her to the 'real room'.
I'm running a combo HPS/MH 400w in an air cooled hood with dialed in temps and...
OK thanks. I realized I used the new version of OC+ that has no cal, the one with the pink lid.
So I'm just dosing cal-mag @ 5ml per gallon and I also 'charged' my coco with it initially.
I'm waiting for a test kit to arrive to find out the TA of my tap water but so far everything is looking...
Do you know of a product that would be suitable to amend a 3:1 coco/perlite hempy that would take care of potential calcium issues?
I mean aside from adding clamag to the feeds, I'm trying to make it as 'set and forget' as possible.
Week 3 veg after transplant so I guess shes actually around 7-8 weeks old now.
I LST'd with some fencing wire, also topped some areas to spread her out but Im still not sure whether Im going with a scrog or just let the plants go.. we'll see...
I planted my seedlings in a particular medium, they curled the fuck up, just trying to help some other noob from having the same drama.
Obviously some peat moss needs to be amended with dolomite or whatever but that's what this forum is for right? Sharing experiences and getting/giving advice...
What I said
It seems do be doing good for my older plant, wasnt intended to be a bash fest, but this particular product did fuck up my seedlings some so I thought I should put the warning out there
Thanks, I guess it's pretty obvious I jumped to the N tox conclusion hastily.
In hindsight I would have titled the thread' Miracle Gro Peat Moss - not great for seedlings'
I always went by the rule that when the branches/sets start staggering (not just growing directly opposite each other) then the plant was ready to go to flower.
Doesnt mean you can't keep vegging when you see it though
Here's a pic of what I mean, one of my Wonder Woman's at around week 4 veg
Right, the bottom leaf was when it was unhappy. As soon as I saw the curl I took them out of the peat moss, washed off the roots and transplanted into the coco/perlite/OC+ hempy buckets.
I didnt take pics at the time only after they had grown two or three more sets, that why the pics were...
Huh, I've just started growing hydro again after about 10 years and I'm loving the fact that growers these days are getting great results from every day gear thats available not just at (expensive) hydro stores.
