Hello everyone! I am a proud user of cobkits lights and have been killing it! Im looking forward to more activity on this board. I have an IG page too with more pics. Thanks to cobkits for all his hard work!
Hello everyone! I have some pics posted on my instagram but im just getting started here. I am.using dynagro foliage pro, bloom, protekt and mag pro in tupur coco blend. I made my own COB LED lights and have bewn very happy with my results! I pretty much follow the chart to a T but go just a tad...
Sounds like you got a very smart friend!
A few easy pointers for a damn near 100% success rate as described above. Roots will explode in 10 days and be ready for whatever.
- use root riot or similar peat plug and turn upside down. This makes them easier to handle. Poke a hole in top.
- use...
I've researched that light. It's called Top Shelf LED in the USA. They are based out of LA. It's called the duolux 600. Geyapex will refer you to top shelf and they charge about $1000 or $1100 per light.
I've now experimented with Foliage Pro and Grow for flowering. Both of them do a great job, but I've decided to use the grow for flower and the foliage pro with veg. My medium is Promix HP.
I am so impressed with Foliage Pro in Promix HP!
I have a friend that has an ebb and flow system, he is using gh 3 part and I want him to use DynaGro. Should I suggest a 50/50 grow/bloom combo ph to 6.3? Any other hydro advice in regards to Dynagro?
Some drink that in one day and the rest in two by the time they get to flower. I grow large plants in 3 gallon containers. There really isn't close to 20% runoff when I do this. I push it as far as plants getting rootbound, but that's what makes bigger flowers IMO. I do this in both "dirt" and coco.
If I don't use Protekt my plants get deficiencies. I use 1/4 ml gallon which raises my ph to 6.3. It goes in at 5.7 without adjustment. This is in Sunshine4.
That's my personal experience. I can't explain the science behind it, but I know the higher ph plants look and grow much better.
Heres a Sour Diesel fed nothing buy Foliage Pro @ 4 ml/gallon and Protekt at .25 ml/gallon. This was grown in a three gallon pot of Sunshine4 (very similar to Promix HP). I quit flushing and have noticed no ill effects. Big Thanks to Uncle Ben and Homebrewer for their hard work!
I suspect that in peat based medium with dolomitic lime that a too low ph can cause problems. I've never had any issues from a higher ph, but have had deficiencies when the ph is lower (5.5).
This is my personal observation and maybe it isn't because of the ph. I obviously will do what works...
I use DynaGro Foliage Pro, I used to use Dynagro Grow. I've grown many great plants with my tap. They look, smell and taste great. My RO grown plants just burn better and burn to a white ash. The thing that sucks is that I get deficiencies sometimes with the RO water unless I use Protekt to...
My tap is 10 grains hardness and has total alkalinity between 60-80 Uncle Ben. My TDS pen shows between 180-220 ppm when I check it. I use RO water now and it has improved the way the plants burn. Anyone care to break down the science on this? My medium is Sunshine4 bales.
Thank You Uncle Ben, i really appreciate the time youve taken to show us how useless bloom foods are. I posted a picture of a Purple Kush plant a few pages back that was grown with 4 ml DynaGro Grow with some Protekt to keep the PH above 5.2. The flavor and smell is much more intense than with a...
