hey guys, i have two bogglegum plants that i vegged under 4 foot flourescent tubes equaling a total of 160 watts. i switched them to 12/12 today after 5 weeks of vegging and they are now under a 1000 watt HPS. will the HPS shock the plant(s) considering the change in wattage is so drastic?
the reason the pots arent filled to the brim is becuase i started with these big pots because i was terrified of transplanting. also i want to switch over to flower soon becuase i leave for school in 2 months and am hoping to harvest right around then.
yo, i havent given the plants any ferts yet. ive been pretty much lettin them do there thang but im planning on switching over to 12/12 soon at which time i think im going to use Tiger Bloom. any ideas?

i havent been able to find a way to reliably test ph? anybody have any comments on the state of my plants? any suggestions on where to go from here? i was hoping to switch them over to flower in a couple weeks so that i can hopefully harvest in the 2 months.
yo this is my first grow. each one of those lights is a 55 watt 4 foot flourescent tube, the total wattage being 165. im planning on adding a few CFLs within the next couple weeks. the soil is organic black gold. i havent fed it any nutes but plan on doing so very soon. the seeds are...
hola, i have a buddy who has a sweet 1000 watt HPS light while all i have is 3 floros tubes and a few CFLs. I am growing two plants (expecting 1 female) and i was wondering if he lent me the HPS for my flowering stage would it be too much light for just one female? the strain is bogglegum
hey thanks for all the info. but what product should i use that is reliable on testing ph? the ph testing liquid that i got with my ph up and ph down was reading all over the map and obviously not working.
does anyone know a cheep and effective way of regulating the ph in my soil?? i have one of those ph/light/moisture meters but it seems really shakey. i also bought the ph up and ph down but i have no idea how to effectively use it. someone help!
yo i have one of the moisture/light/ph meter things but i hear those suck ass. i also have ph up and ph down but i dont know how to effectively use it. somebody please explain this to me. also, whats a hygrometer?
thanks a lot, thats what i thought but a friend of mine said that if they are never introduced to darkness once until you try to flower them, then it will shock them when you do. guess not... any other suggestions for my setup??
