haha! yeah, I'm from Wisconsin originally and always been a packers fan. To be fair, I'm not going to get excited until we get passed the NFC championship game.
As far as I know it was an NL#2 and an Afghani #1. I'd say that the Paki and the skunk are the dominant strains in this mix in terms of terpine profile and some of the flower structure, but the Afghani and the NL definitely make themselves known in terms of the high.
yeah... definitely not a fan of smoking nylon carpet fibers and dander ridden pet hair. I still occasionally find a single cat hair stuck somewhere that I most likely brought in on my clothes or whatever, but it's so rare that I don't even think about it. clean buds make my old man lungs happier.
I also filter my intake. started originally doing it because the wifey and I have always had pets and I don't like critter hair stuck to my flowers, but once I saw all the other dust and random shit suck to the filter I'd never go back to unfiltered intake. Good thread on an often neglected topic!
I didn't end up using anything on them, the only thing I did that I wouldn't do with fresh seeds was scuff them with sandpaper. that being said, only 1 bean popped out of the 8 or 10 I tried to germinate. I may have had a higher success rate with ga3. once I got one to pop I cloned it as soon...
I know exactly what it is. it's one half of a breeding project I've been working on. The plant in the picture is (get ready for it): ((Northern Lights x Skunk #1 x Shiva Skunk x Afghani) x (Pakistani Chitral x Super Skunk)). It was crossed and stabilized by the guy who helped me learn how...
soil should never outperform hydro for growth rates. you may want to ask around in the hydro section for tips and pointers. insane growth rates are one of the defining characteristics of hydroponics and I'd guess you need to dial some things in.
thanks! she is a little beat up but that's mostly because she is in my breeding tent with 4 different strains that all like to be fed differently and I don't have the time to make 4 different feed solutions every day. When I run her in my flower tent she does much better. it's an extremely...
Hell yeah! I started smoking weed in the late 80s and grew my first plant in or '92 or so, so these strains have a special place in my heart! Have you checked out Authentic Genetics Seed Co? Todd has gotten his hands on the real deal NL #1, NL #5, Skunk #1 and a bunch of old school hazes...
Holy shit! talk about a lack of updates. I just remembered this thread existed while mentioning the project to @xtsho in a different thread.
Anyway, I do have a brief update for anyone who initially showed interest. I am currently on F6 of this cross. It's already showing great uniformity...
Get your temps up. 80 to 85 lights on temps under led is critical. If you get your environmental factors dialed in and are still having problems it is probably a watering issue
i could never justify that when I can get a 25lb bag of Jack's for less than 50 bucks. At a dilution rate of 1 tbs/gallon of water I'll let you do the math....
I was not aware of that. I also have never been in his grow op so I can't count it. seems like terrible business practices to me. wasting money is not a good start in a market where margins are already slim.
the only commercial Op I have personal knowledge of runs Jack's. Anybody who runs a grow as a business isn't going the waste money on watered down hype when they can get the same nutrients in dry salt form for 1/10th the cost. that's bad business.
It's a complete conundrum. The only thing that got the feds to even consider changing cannabis laws is money, and when money is the primary driver of change the only people who really get to benefit from the changes are the people who are already rich and powerful. They have no incentive to...
ahhh, that makes sense. mine has a drain port for a hose so I don't need to worry about emptying when I'm not around. Best advice I can give you is maximum airflow (not just extraction, circulation is critical too) and do your best to prevent overcrowding that will result in microclimates.
good airflow is critical. I am a bit confused as to why you'd need 2 dehumidifiers.. I'm guessing they are small/not very powerful? I have an Arctic King that will take a full sized room down to any rH I want regardless of ambient.
same. I would like to do some back-crossing but have not. At this point I have pollen in the freezer and seeds from each filial generation in storage, so theoretically I could back cross to each original parent but could also back cross to any particular step of the process. I just don't have...
