First grow. Gorilla cake autos. Progress thread

CLW are certainly not top of the line anymore, but they were among the very best LED fixtures in the days of blurples. Quality OSRAM diodes, well built, ran hot but dumped out a ton of light for its day. I used a Solar Storm 440 from them back in the day. 350ish actual watts with two built-in...

Anybody ever get a fat leaf short variety to yield well?

Best yielding broad leaf variety that I've grown is Papaya by Nirvana. Enormous donkey dick colas and the secondaries are the size of hand grenades. Potency is decent, smell and taste are phenomenal.

    Contaminated Weed Everywhere

i haven't smoked weed that I didn't grow in a long time and it's shit like this that makes me glad I haven't. to be honest I'm more worried about mold and pesticides than I am about anything else, but regardless I am glad I don't have to be on the receiving end of somebody's unscrupulous actions.

Buds have are a dark or washed out appearance

are they all the same strain? from seed or from clones? have their been any changes in your space such as climate, lighting or growing medium? any signs of stress or disease? we need way more info to even make a guess and even then it may be something as simple as phenotypical variation or...

    First indoor grow

I does if you know what you should be looking for. Just throwing it out there so somebody doesn't end up with 2500 ppfd at the canopy because of an app. lol.

    Please stop using peat products

I am all for protecting the environment, but I'm going to be sad when I can't get promix hp anymore. I love it. Probably be back to rDWC for me at that point.

    First indoor grow

I'd recommend caution when using light meter apps. I've used the one you linked and it performs very well, but the sensors on some cell phones have a hard ceiling to how high they will measure. my last phone topped out at something like 38,000 lumens and that is not terribly uncommon if you...

    Question about herms and seeds

The offspring should have the same tendencies as the mother. It will require a similar amount of stress to induce a similar result.

    Problem late in flower

agreed. could be pushed longer if they were healthy enough, but they look far enough along that you're better off chopping them before those sugar leaves become a threat to the flowers.

    Slow Growth

I know it's been said already, but you haven't addressed it yet so I'll say it again for emphasis... you should be shooting 80f minimum under LED. during veg and early to mid flower I shoot for 85f. you can lower the light all you want, but until you get the Temps up you'll continue to have...

Check your indicator lights in your grow environment.

I've got a strain that I insist on continuing to run (because I love it) that herms if you look at it wrong. if I was a commercial grower I'd have binned it a long time ago. Anyway, it is literally the only strain I've ever had that I'm fairly certain hermed from light pollution. in this case...

Wetting Agent for Peat Based Soiless Media?

so I am pretty new to peat based growing (about a year and a half) and all I've used is promix hp. I know hydrophobic medium is a real thing, but have never experienced it even after letting it get very dry. Perhaps they add a wetting agent I am unaware of?

    First time grow, nearing harvest

You did yourself a service by coming into it with a humble attitude and a willingness to learn and be open to suggestions. This community has many excellent growers that are willing to help, but it can be pretty brutal to people with little to no experience who have big egos and thin skin...

    First time grow, nearing harvest

You did a great job by the way. A huge number of beginners don't even get their plants to the flowering stage much less take them to the finish line looking as healthy as yours. Keep doing what you're doing and check back in here around the 30th or so would be my suggestion.
