personally i don't use hydroton rocks. I used to. currently i don't use any medium. I put my plants directly in the neoprene collars that fit into the nets pots. then I tie the plants to a post that i have built onto the dwc container. If you don't like that you can use rock wool as a medium

I know that you would probably want a vortex fan at least 400cfm with a controller so if you need the full amount you have it. Also do a cool tube that will keep the inside of the tent cooler as well. Happy growing
