lil brown spots are a potash deficiency, caused by your pH imbalance in the soil like jack is tellin you. do what jack and his bird dog say. Im havin the same problem with ocean forest as well, and mine is caused by heat stress, which led to the pH imbalance, causing my plants to lock out N and K.

I installed a floor a/c unit with ducting going out, as well as ducting on the last two lights that were not ducted yet. I have a few more improvements to optimize the grow and ill be set i think.

yeah im only sayin for some strains. theres a lot of people on here that use it for that, and i use it as well,just in bloom though, cuz it is great soil. I just like happy frog or even light warrior for starts.
i had a friend accidentally top one of my plants by stickin the top in one of my exhaust fans while movin it. it didnt take it too well, hermied at the end. However, that strain was known to herm, and that wasnt even close to all that had happened to it. so i didnt really answer your question...
