not sayin at all that its bad soil. I just prefer happy frog for veg. I do use ocean forest and do agree that its great soil. some strains are just a little more sensitive to it is all.
i do not recommend ocean forest for seedlings. it is too hot as is. if you do, use another type of soil such as light warrior or happy frog or even mg. seedlings are a sensitive sort. I use ocean forest in bloom only.
So here is my question. I understand the art of foliar feeding, at least partially. I dont practice it a lot simply because i have a few reservations about it. I dont understand the when or why, and also, are you still able to feed through watering. how often do you do this? so any feedback is...
do a little research around on this forum for one, lots of good info here. with the soil thats a personal choice, i personally use happy frog soil, but i wait until the seed is sprouted. I use happy frog because it has not a lot of nutes, but some good stuff for growing in. dont overwater...
i did this once with a nutrient i was adding. called for 6 teaspoons in my res, so i threw in 6 tablespoons. i also realized it right as i dumped it in... it was in hydro though ina recirculatory reservoir, so i just dumped and started over, but lesson was learned nonetheless.
with this, i always do at least 3-4 days before putting into flower. this gives it time to recover. I used to do this practice, my thinking to give the buds more light for better bigger buds. since i have stopped trimming in flower i have seen an increase in size and density. I pull off dead or...
