Thanks for that info, I have gave a very small amount of molasses to the plants but will put it on hold as well as the lime and will continue using only 1tsp of each of the GH series per gallon. Thanks thumper.. do I need to worry about Ph since the lime in the promix is a neutralizer?
I ask because I'm suppose to only give the plant molasses water 2-3 times a week and the lime 2-3 times a week. And this pro mix goes dry very quick and I'd rather give it small amounts of each every day than large amounts
Nice plants man, I hope mine end up lookin good like that. I will start adding some nutes right away then. Is it bad to put small amounts of 3 different types of water in the same plant at once? For example I have a gallon of water with just molasses, a gallon of water with just the Pelletizd...
Thanks guys. All I have is the GH nutes. Could I use those? Or wait until I can get something better? I will work on getting the things you guys listed. Glad to hear they are good for now . I worry about them lol
Plants 1month old just tplanted into 3gal pots.
I was told that straight pro mix isn't good for growing so I'm wondering if I have made the right mixture.
75% ProMix BX
25% BlueOx Compost Manure. (.5,.5,.5)
Watering: 1 cap full unsulfered molasses/ 1gal. Water 2/3 times a week as need...
I started with reg medical UK Cheese seeds, a couple showed their sex to be female already, and I was told to look for a fert for tomatoes. I also have GH nutes, but barely any of the pink stuff. Should I add some now or wait a week or two?
It is the size of a good bag. Above knee high. I almost bought the fox farm stuff today if they weren't 35$ a bottle. I'll try and get to the market to find some bat guano and worm castings. But could I get away with ProMix Bx and Compost manure? I'm just worried because they are already...
Ok thanks, I don't have money for any of the worm castings or bat guano, but I have bags of Blue Ox compost manure. Can I mix that into the promix and repot them? It's a NPK of .5,.5,.5.
And if I can use it, what ratios should I use?
I have 12 plants, and I have a light that will only power 8 maybe 9. They will be 1 month old from seed on Monday. I went out today and bought a 60lb brick of pro mix and filled 6, 3gallon plastic grow pots. Just straight soil. No microbes, no nutes, no nothing. Just plain ol pro mix. I have...
So I went to the grow store, got the pro mix. 60lb brick. I didn't have the money for the microbes or nutes, they were crazy expensive. Will I be alright for now with just the pro mix? I have 12 plants, but my light will only power about 8 or 9 plants. and 6 pots so I can only do 6 for now and...
Yea I get what you're saying, haha. I changed my mind from getting pro mix to getting fox farm ocean breeze and I'm going to mix a little in the soil. Do I pour the stuff around the hole I'll be transplanting into? Or just mix around evenly in the whole soil that's in the pot? And if instead I...
Nice, I'll follow what you said, I'll look for the great white seeming I'm kind of on a budget. So if I mend the great white into the soil are you saying that in veg after I transplant and add the microbes/great white to the mix, I just use normal water ? And then in flower I mix some in with...
I have heard of microbes. I will be sure to look for them when I go shopping next, it sounds like something I'd be into; having them grow faster after transplanting lol.
I topped them after the 4th nose and about a week later now, 2 of them have shown sex to be female during 18/6. They will be...
I have been looking closely at my almost 1 month old babies and I was shocked when I saw a preflower on one of them and it looks to me like it's female, can anyone tell me why/how a plant can even do this in an 18/6 cycle?
Alright how many plants do you think would grow good under 400w? I have about a 6x6 space. And I don't plan on going through the whole flower cycle with 12 as some will be male. I just hope I have enough females to get enough meds and few enough to fit in my room efficiently. Will transplant...
The tinted brown roots are mostly at the bottom of the affected ones I saw.. may very be because of suffocation, I have slits in the bottom for drainage but if I had to guess I'd say it may be from oxygen deprivation or something? Should I make slits in the sides of the cups for the rest of...
Thanks I'll be sure to get some of that dolomite lime. It's good to hear that they look good, I spend a lot of time making sure they are doing alright and what not. Thanks for the info, legalizenature420
