go with the 600/400 setup, i think its best if power is a concern, a 600 puts out like 90000 lumens and 1000 do like 140000

its a good idea to have one of those, i have a belkin that cost about 40 bucks that i connect all my fans and stuff i want running with the lights on but you could probably do just fine without one, lots of people dont use one but i would if the light shares a circuit with other stuff in your house

you know what i have a digital 600 (lumatek) which is quiet and hot, a regular 430 which is quiet and cool (diamond lights) and a 250 mh that is noisy and hot (hydrofarm) generally the digital are quieter but i have some arguments for the whole cooler thing

man thats a total open question with shit loads of variables but here it goes, say you had a decently bushy plant with some good side branches that was tied down so it could take advantage of the length of the tubes i think 2 oz is a totally attainable amount but then again its tough to say
