Promix hp users, I'd appreciate your input and advice.

Just got the base. They didn't have the kit in stocks and I have tons of micros, calmag, Si laying around. So just picked up what they had and I'll fill in the gaps.

I went to the hydro store this afternoon. Picked up some some jacks. I am familiar and comfortable with salt based hydro so I went that direction. Also going to be using Si and calmag obviously. What sort of ppm/ec did you run in PM HP for the different stages of growth? I typically did half...

PM? My mind won't let that mean anything but powdery mildew... haha. I assume I'm just blanking on an obvious abbreviation.

Thanks everybody. Thanks for the input! I am considering giving the Gaia 4-4-4 amendment method a try a couple runs down the line as I've heard great things, but I'll definitely be going with a bottled or powder nutrients given during watering for this batch. Just trying to get a sense from...

Thanks for the input! The watering tips in particular are helpful as my last run in promix was with blumats so I didn't learn much about hand watering them.

Hello all. This is gonna be long, but I need to pick your wonderful brains so stick with me. Going to be doing an indoor winter run in my 2x2 (partially to help heat my room. True story.) and I want to hear from folks who currently or previously had success with promix. I've only used it...

How rare are original strain seeds. Columbia gold etc

Landrace strains are becoming increasingly rare. So much so that there are breeders and growers who spend a lot of time and money finding and preserving landrace genetics and legendary early crosses.

Who's Got The Fostiest Buds? Let's See How Frosty A Bud Can Really Get?

Just cut an early sample. Rest of the plant will go another 7 to 10 days. Looking forward to this one. :D

    How much longer before harvest?

That is not ready. At least a couple weeks based on those pics. And a smaller plant has never resulted in a shorter flowering time in my experience.

how far away should and led/qb be from the plant?

That plant was grown in a 60 cm x 60 cm space. Light was dimmed to about %50 during seedling and early veg stages and was ramped up to %100 (135 watts) for flower.

Whos having problems with Mars Hydro

This is why I choose to buy lights from companies that care about quality and saftey. I am a cautious, bordering on paranoid person to begin with. The last thing I need is a poorly built accident waiting to happen hanging in my home.

CBD isolate powder and tollerance build up

I definitely get noticable effects from cbd in high doses. It's super mello, but it's there. To me it always feels like a really really small dose of some couchlock buds. I use it for stress relief, or to mellow me out if I get way too high off of some racy pot. Wouldn't describe it as a high...

Battle of the Bananas: What to expect?

There are definitely some genetic lines out there that seem to love herming and I avoid those, but in all of my many years of growing have i have never seen a stable line become hermie prone just because you stressed a plant and it chucked nanners. The strain I just had self on me has always...

Battle of the Bananas: What to expect?

I typically just pluck the actual nanner as Wiz suggested and its always work fine for me. Call me crazy, but ive always preferred to get the nanners early if I'm gonna get them at all. If i have to deal with my buds being seeded I'd rather have them be fully mature, viable seeds than little...

    Led Users Unite!

I run (usually ) 2 HLG 288s (3500k) driven at about 230 total watts these days. I run that in a 2x4 space whereas I ran my ss440 in a 3x3 so it isn't a 1:1 comparison, but yeah my HLG boards definitely outperform the clw. The only thing I will say is that I love how the 440 vegged plants. Super...

    Led Users Unite!

I still have a 440 in my closet! I loved that light. IMO it was the best LED for it's time. I run HLG now and it is obviously superior tech when compared to the clw, but I did grow some beautiful plants under that 440. May have to do a run under it just for nostalgia sake.

Looking to flower a 5 by 5 decently cheap.

I mostly agree with this, but with an HID a good portion of the heat is radiating from the bulb itself so by its nature the hottest component of the light needs to be in the tent or grow space. With QB style led a very large portion of the energy lost to heat is from the driver. Drivers can be...
