i like to pick em when they are about 50% red hairs that just my prefrence. depending on how long you plan on budding them still, its hard to say whether or not your plant is growing fast enough to even form more pollen sacs, if you only have a couple weeks left it might not have time to make...
i try to put something that makes noise on my dresser to hide the sound too like a computer or a fan or a humidifier. lets just hope they dont go in there looking for a shirt or something lol im always worried that someone will try to pull one of the drawers of my dresser out, id have some...
no problem ,but actually, to me, that does look like a pre-pubescent ball sack. lol and if it was more than one then definitly. if you got it before the pollen had a chance to build up inside it then you might be ok,
heres a pic of a male flower from one of my clones. it looks just like what...
happened to me too i went to squeeze what i thought was a huge bud, and the seeds just fell everywhere and there was hardley no bud on the plant, i counted 33 seeds in one bud.
i try to never use seeds, always clones, it took me a year to find a plant with good genetics, now im rooting clones...
thats awesome, i used to grow peppers too, i had a huge jalapeno bush in hydro and a habanero that had 100 or more peppers on it. i learned a lesson about acid reflux after growing them and eating them in experimental dishes..haha ive done the same thing before i ran across some purple bell...
awww that suuuucks! pull it off and smoosh it in your fingers if it has pollen in it you got a hermie. it happens, i just made a comment about herms on another thread. it just boils down to bad genetics, its been imbred so much it mutated, and then it pollinates itself making more herm seeds and...
its always wonderful to see those little white hairs, but in my case i have often been decieved. working with bagseed i run into hermaphrodite plants all the time, they pop out hairs but dont reveal their pollen sacs until its too late. if youve got good genetics though your probably straight. i...
ive been watering the hempy pot everyday and it seems like it soaks up the whole reservoir every time, i guess thats a good thing though since cannabis loves being wet then dry, it promotes the roots to stretch.
thanks man, what do you think of my little hempy pot? i watered it a few times and now im about to switch it to flower. im going to try to make a screen today too to keep em contained.
i really think its a matter of preference, i judge my harvest by the hairs. i usually harvest when they are about 50-60% red hairs. ive heard some people harvesting at 40% and also at 75% but i go about even or a just little on the red side.and i flush for about 3-5 days in the last week
i could tell by how long the branches were that youd have to tie the whole bush up, hence why i use a screen, mainly for stem training but somewhat for support. looking very good though. i bet you pull off a decent harvest.
the two flowering plants are doing very well, starting to train the branches and push them under the screen
the roots are also starting to pop out of the net pots, a sure sign that they are rooting well.
i will veg these plants until the screen is about 75% full then switch to flower cycle.
i havent had any lowryder, i know that its supposed to stay short stocky, as far as the smell, in my opinion,if my pc box stank up the whole room just vegging, then im sure that the smell of any flowering plant would do the same or more even if it is a "low odor" strain.
what i suggest is...
those look good but my space for a light is only 33 inches across and 26 inches deep. i need something smaller i like the $219 one but its a little bit too big
i have a pc box that i used to use for a veg chamber with a mother and mini clone machine in it, enough space to make 4 small clones. when it heated up it really got the smell of growing into the room even with a good ventilation, i attempted to build my own carbon scrubber but that only lasted...
so i studied up a little about what a hempy pot was and how to make one. ive had this clay bonsai pot for years but never used it for much than a couple onions. i drilled a hole in the side at a level that would create a good reservoir in the bottom, with a masonry drill bit and plugged up the...
i have a deep/shallow water culture flowering system. its in a micro cab converted dresser. it has a 1.5 square foot screen of green that needs to be lit. i use a 150w HPS cootube made from a hurricane glass with fans at each end.i flower 2 plants at a time.from the top of the screen to the...
