I was just thinking about the mess it creates, i've got 3, 5 gallon, smart pots that just sit on the floor of the grow tent, it'll get dirty quick with all the excess water draining out.

Just curious about the smart pots you have, since i'm using them as well. How do you solve the "issue" with when watering, that the water simmers out from the bottom, do you clean it up each time or what do you do?

I've got biobizz but will hold off for a while, since the soil contains nutes in itself :) no need to risk overfertilizing before the roots have set in good and well.

The soil already contains elements like peat moss etc, nothing chemical. I'm not adding any nutes for about 3-4 weeks.

Sounds good :) because it got transplanted into soil today! So hopefully a bit of nutes in the soil will give it a bit of an extra push!

Hurr hurr, it was the strongest of my three sedlings but well, since it's only about 4 days old, it's still quite fragile.

So, my seedling has grown it's taproot through the bottom of the rockwool it's placed in. However when I put her down, I accidentally broke about 5mm of the taproot that came out of the rockwool. Is that plant screwed now or what? :/

It's a "country" only soil. Don't want to reveal it since it'll make apparent my location :) But it's a good soil that a lot of people here are using! But yeah, around 80/20 or 70/30 sounds about right. I'm using fabric pots as well so that should help a bit with getting air into the soil! Just...

Because you're contradicting yourself. Yes, the GE lights are more effecient but they don't output the same amount of lumens that's what i'm saying. The only thing you seem to be getting at the effectiveness and yes, the GE bulbs are more effective but you didn't say that if I recall, ever in...

I can't give up something that i'm not using though. As I said, numerous times, I argued with the numbers you put forward and modding bulbs, sure, that'll probably change the lumen output but then again, since thats not something stated, you can't really say "well yeah, it'll increase by 25%"...

I'm agreeing with you that the GE bulbs are more efficient yes but still, the philip bulbs produce more lumens and with such a "small" output of lumens you "usually" want more lumens instead of more bulbs. And yes, that may be true but still, I don't believe that even running a stealth grow you...

Trying that now, doesn't make any noticeable difference over a 30min period :) so I guess I need to get a humidifier!

Since I have a cooltube setup I'm worried that the bulb will overheat and the temperature will get to high. No humidifier as of yet, might need to get one though :/ they're quite "expensive" the ones you can set a humidity level that it needs to keep.
