Okay thank you! I've just had a look on ebay and have found a apc-16-700 for 25$ with free shipping, it says it puts out 16.8w with 9-24vdc @700ma, pretty sure that's going to work with these without needing a dc-dc driver. Or for 30$ free shipping I could get a lpc-35-700 wich puts out 33.6w...

Thanks Mark, I'm a little confused on what tap into the driver means, could you explain to me ? Does this mean I'm splitting a wire into two wires from the main output end?

Would the lrs-150-24 be enough for 10 xp e running at 700ma, they draw about 16.1 watts and 23v added up in the string, or 1.61w each at 2.3v and 700ma.
