We'll try and keep an eye on this. This round isn't quite as high a priority as the energy costs are just about nil.

So we're certainly appreciating lower energy costs. We're hoping to get enough from 3 plants this summer to meet 2 indoor crops from our 600w set-up. Started these girls back in March but the season was slow, so they didn't get outside until June. Still they doubled in size in the past 3 weeks...

Thanks for the comments. We're not planning on going for this stuff. Here in New England, our biggest concern after rippers, then temps in the fall. Then other things like excess moisture, mold and pests. Again thanks! ~MM's

I think that's a good idea to not go too far beyond 5 cycles. We went overboard and bought about $200 in seed packs. And now we're backlogged for years. And it's a small concern of seed viability looking out beyond 2020.

Just curious what the pros / cons are for just letting the girls do their thing outdoors. Without manipulating the light cycle. We've been perusing posts and most outdoor set-ups don't appear to include any type of light restricting tarps or devices.

Are you giving yourself enough space to get in there and water those girls? You may have, but from the scrogged photo, it looks like the screen doesn't leave a lot of wiggle room to reach in there or water. Also we can't tell how you're watering these girls from that pic. For us having a little...
