I can’t imagine how it would cause any issues…but also not sure how effective they will be for leafhoppers when the traps are sitting on the soil. Typically, you’d have them attached to the plant in various spots so the leafhoppers will land on them when they’re jumping around.

Those are leafhoppers. A few of them generally won’t cause issues but they are known to carry some viruses that can affect weed. In big numbers they can do some damage. Sticky traps are a good and cheap method of control.

Good video on bud washing below. As Thumper said, you can skip the second step with straight water. H202 breaks down very quickly, leaves no residue and is harmless. You’re thinking too much, clipping too much and watering too much. Stop trying so hard. Why the distilled water? Unless your tap water is completely out of whack, it’s likely better for your plants. Water until runoff and wait until the pots are light before watering again. Watering every day...

Many ways to skin a cat. There’s pros and cons to both methods and I have had issues with both…call it a draw. Definitely a problem with them blowing over in high winds. I use lots of support and space them far enough apart so they don’t bust each other up if they go down. I watch the weather...

Complete nonsense. 15 gal pots can produce great yields. She’s fine based on the current age/size of her plants. Your plants look great. Keep doing what you’re doing and don’t get caught up in the plethora of bad advice and “bro science”. There’s a hundred ways to grow and there’s nothing wrong...

Not around my place, Thumper…thank god. There were some bad ones south of me about 150 miles. Hit 100 degrees here last Thursday and dropped down to the 40s the next day and been cold with a pile of rain. Weather looking better now though.

Looking good, everyone! Last day for these ladies until they hit their final resting place. I need to get them out of these 3 gal pots like yesterday. Weather has been pure crap so they’ve been in and out of the house the past couple of weeks….should be good to go now.

You say you’re not overwatering…what exactly is your routine?

If you’re in a legal state, might be a good idea to head down to your local dispensary and try a few different 1:1 or low THC strains. Figure out what you like and order seeds accordingly. I’m a lightweight but grow potent strains. I just go easy on the puffs.

Lol. So true. I was reading some posts on a FB weed page and the idiocy is rampant. People arguing against “bro science” with their own different “bro science”. Ridiculous….although it was mildly entertaining.

Not sure if this has been posted so my apologies if it’s old news. Lots of good info in this video that debunks some of the “bro science” that’s been circulating in the industry and this forum for years. Worth a listen if you have some time.
