Been growing in dirt for a long time now am about to be trying hydro for first time and am setting up a DWC. I got a 4 bucket system with a 5th bucket reservoir with “ passive” exchange. My grow area is 3.5ft x 3.5ft and my light is a Spider Farmer Se3000. Carbon filter/ ac infinity exhaust fan...
Do rapid rooters algae much? I use them now for dirt with about 100% success.., so I will just do same then put in net pots with clay… that should work, right?
Nice bro!!! I really like your setup and def your final harvest looked banging. I hope to get there hydroponically someday… but I think to start I may just use rapid rooters and transfer them to my nets with clay pebbles. After a run or two I want to try what you do …. Medium less is really...
So I’ve grown many years in dirt, always cloning in dirt plugs in my humidity dome with heat mat, then putting clones in dirt when roots came and going..,?easy peasy!!!
Now , I wanted to set up a new small hydro room so I have begun. I have a 4 bucket DWC system with a 5th bucket reservoir for...
So pretty much the same… they seem to be growing though. Cups still feel some heavy so think I better wait at least one more day to water with nutes. Only those 2 seem affected
I would be apt to think flushing seedlings would kill them. 3 of mine look fine just the 2 have some probs. Hopefully a little care until I put them in bigger pots with some good black gold/ guano/ b meal soil mix will do …
Ok I’ll let them dry down some then water with that, thx. Should I put them under t5s now ? Just under fluorescents at moment, thought I would move them to t5 after. 2-3 weeks ?
So I have Clonex clone and seedling nutrient ( 1-0.4-1). And fox farm big bloom (0.01-0.3-0.7) ….. I have both of these so would like to use one of these…which one you think? my normal nutes I will be using for rest of grow will be the whole Fox Farms lineup which I’ve used for years. Could also...
It appears no, mostly 60-70% peat moss, vermiculite , coir pith and lime , so I guess could be anything like ph, nute def, water issues? Thinking let them go til dirt dry add water with light nutes if they still alive and looking same?
The medium is just jiffy s organic seed starter, soil just barely moist. Started with putting wetter soil in bottom inch or so , filled rest with barely damp soil put seeds with taproots out in. Now just been waiting 6 days since then and I just put some RO water after I saw those 2 brownish...
So these 2 are just 4 days above ground and getting these brown spots and twisting a little? Too close to light? I moved it up in this pic.. they were about 1inchvabove? Other ones doing ok though? Any thoughts would help Thx

So another seedling emerged… I had to gently remove husk… now it looks like this… see pic… not opening up and top leaf seems some discolored? This seem ok?
I seem to have excellent luck with clones.. pretty much 95-100% success…. Been using Dip n Grow solution works great!! But these little sprouts got me nervous … seem to be stretched already too much, or am I ok? Here’s a new pic ,light only about 1 1/2 inch away now….thx
True, guess been cloning so long I get a little nervous starting from seed again, just want these girls to grow strong. I know patience is a must now… I’ll post back in a couple days after they develop more… thx.
Ok thx I will . I will post more pics tomorrow. The 2 sprouts are both Runtz muffin, there’s a small Zkittles just poking through and 2 more hopefully will emerge in next day or 2. Also 2 purple punch, but they are a little behind as their taproots were some smaller when I transplanted. . I’ll...
