    Arduino shields drawing too much.

Who gives a shit how much current relays use? Just provide the necessary current and the shit will work.

Killer info for setting up a CO2 equipped grow room!

Metric degrees are way way bigger. I seriously doubt you have a -2C LST.

    Dyna-Gro Foliage-Pro for Seedlings?

That sounds about right. I try to stay below 300ppm.

Killer info for setting up a CO2 equipped grow room!

the difference of a couple degrees in LST differential is going to translate to like one percent humidity and most people's humidity sensors are only accurate to 5% anyway, and probably haven't been calibrated properly anyway. They should have a calculator that includes CO2 concentration too...

Killer info for setting up a CO2 equipped grow room!

Here is a good explanation of WUE: https://www.frontiersin.org/articles/10.3389/fpls.2019.00103/full As WUE increases, the plant takes the same amount of water up through the roots, but it transpires less through the leaves. The whole point of VPD is to maintain the proper amount of...

    DIY with Quantum Boards

More than if you grew them with a cooler color, but it wouldn't be a huge issue. The red light also causes leaves to expand more so they'll start to absorb more light and form a seamless canopy sooner, which can be a good thing very early on when the plants are small. It's not a bad idea to have...

    Dyna-Gro Foliage-Pro for Seedlings?

I use foliage pro on seedlings, unless they're autoflowers then I give them bloom from the beginning.

Killer info for setting up a CO2 equipped grow room!

Stoma don't open and close based on humidity, they do it based on the difference in humidity between the inside of the leaf and the outside. If the roots can't provide enough water then the stoma close. The plant is already solving all of these problems you think you're solving for it. Your...

    Disabled grower trimming issue

There are also options that don't involve trimming. Fresh freeze your harvest instead of drying it and then make dry ice hash with it and press the hash into rosin. Or, as others have said, just don't trim it and break it apart as you load up bowls.

Is my hlg 550 at a good height? and any other info to know about this light will be appreciated

EC depends more on other things like humidity and CO2 levels. Some people say they need more cal-mag though with LEDs. I haven't noticed any difference so I don't use it. It will have better penetration because of multiple sources of light, but it doesn't really matter if it had less because...

Is my hlg 550 at a good height? and any other info to know about this light will be appreciated

Yeah that's what I meant. Sorry, too many dabs. :) Phones don't have lux meters, that's the thing. It's using the camera itself to estimate the amount of light, so you're missing all of the photons that are hitting the camera lens from an angle greater than the width of the field of view of the...

Is my hlg 550 at a good height? and any other info to know about this light will be appreciated

You want to keep it as low as possible while still maintaining the spread you need to cover all of the canopy with light. Lower it as much as possible then dim it down until you get to the appropriate PAR level. The more you dim it the more efficient it gets, and the closer to the canopy it...

Is my hlg 550 at a good height? and any other info to know about this light will be appreciated

A $20 lux meter is going to be more accurate because it's been calibrated properly. That said, mine gives the exact same readings as my lux meter, it's just easier to use the meter. HLG has a blog post where they have a calculator to convert lux to PPFD.

    CO2 generator advice

You really wouldn't even need the microcontroller if you just used like an electromagnet or solenoid and a spring, so when the power is on the snuffer lifts up and when it cuts off the spring pulls it back down. I bet the sparker is already an off-the-shelf part. Buy bitcoin.

Please recommend a flowering light for my 3x3 tent

I used to run two 260w kits dimmed down in a 2x4 tent, it worked amazingly and I had no heat issues even in the middle of summer. HLG also just came out with the 550 eco version which is cheaper and has a thinner heatsink, and is about the same price as the 260w DIY kits cost to build. They...
