When the snow was about 4" deep, there would be twin tracks in the snow where Harley the dachshund/JRT mix was dragging his balls. Small wonder why he wasn't thrilled about snow days...

Need a little help with my room

Air leaks and no door between basement and main floor are the biggest culprits. I live in an area with lots of basements and the best way to warm up the basement is to put a door in the stairwell and keep it closed. This stops the warm air from migrating upstairs. Upgrading LED Lights

In general, mini splits tend to be better for smaller scale and chillers scale up as big as you can imagine and probably bigger than that lol You CAN get a big mini split with a central distribution unit and run a bunch of heads but at that point you're into the territory where a chiller setup...

    Upgrading LED Lights

Efficiency is a unit by unit comparison. A chiller makes water cold. That water needs to be pumped around a circuit which would include the chiller, whatever the chiller is cooling such as an air handler or RDWC water or whatever and some kind of reservoir for holding enough water in "cold"...

    Upgrading LED Lights

Exchanging air with the outdoors absolutely will affect latent heat if the air being brought in has a lower dew point.

    Upgrading LED Lights

A swamp cooler just swaps sensible heat, what a thermometer measures, for latent heat, which is the total heat value of the air including both the temperature and the relative humidity level. If your plants are growing and transpiring properly, they will provide all the necessary RH and then...

    Upgrading LED Lights

A swamp cooler will only help if you're exchanging air in the room. Remember, plants ARE swamp coolers to a great extent.
