Bought a 10x10 tent and it covered 1 plant entirely and the two on the sides were sticking out 1/3 of the way the day before the rains came.
Next day it rained all day, got home to find one of the plants on the end, all the branches that were hanging out had snapped and were soaked. Shook and...
Looking good. My plants are around the same harvest times as yours.
I'm starting to get worried about the rain also. Wish I could move my plants under my awning, but their roots have grown out the bottom of the fabric pots. Don't want to risk stressing them too much this far into flowering.
I...
It's HSC Strawberry Cheesecake, this plant was a different pheno then the other two I started from the pack. Real dark green skinny leaves, and ripening from the bottom up. Stacking up these frosty hard golfball sized bottom buds with huge calyxes.
I'm in the North bay and I've just been keeping up with the watering everyday. So far haven't really noticed anything to be worried about. Did have some damage a month ago when we had a few days of 100 degree weather and I wasn't home to water. Ended up with one branch from a plant getting heat...
Is that normal for you on that side?
I'm on the west coast, and in my limited grows my plants usually are not even getting close to being done until the end of September. I'm hoping to give this one a couple more weeks, but bud rot has been popping up.
You have an issues with rot or anything else?
This is the fourth or fifth batch of cucumbers and tomatoes. Cucumbers really haven't taken off this year, and been too lazy to keep putting up support for my tomatoes. But it's still plenty enough for me and my family.
I am. Got two growing, one is already a few weeks from harvest, the other is only a couple weeks in to flowering. The one farther ahead started with a cookie, skunky smell. Now that it is getting closer to finishing it's getting a more burnt rubber kerosene thing going on. Had a few bud rot...
Haven't found anything. Going to keep an eye on it and see what happens.
If it looks like it's spreading I'm chopping that branch. Hoping it will either fix itself or seeing how it progresses will help me figure out what's happening.
Took a look and didn't see any holes or sign of damage from bugs.
The newest growth on the branch seems to not be affected. I attached a pic of that and the yellowing fan leaves.
I had to leave the house for a few days but before I left I made sure to thoroughly soak my plants. The reason being the temps were going to be in the 90s and I'm using smart pots.
Got home to find one branch of a plant was droopy with crispy leaves. Figured it needed water and gave it a good...
