I have this one MH bulb that came off a ship, it's 'self ballasting'. A year or so ago I connected it straight to a E40 socket and plugged it in and done a whole veg.. Why don't people grow with these since ballasts arnt too cheap?

The breaker never tripped when it switched off,, the dehumidifier pull 22l/day so it's medium size?

IV put new the latest MH in and it's going 100z no flicker or switching off, now I got 3 more bulbs to test, going to give them 20m each and see cause last time they would trip in 5min tops... I have changed the power source of the ballast so now it runs on its on power not sharing with fan or...

Do you do the whole grow with hps? Or you got a dual ark?

So I bought some seeds that I'm not ready to plant yet, it was a bargain so I had to buy, the tin says you should store them in a fridge between 4-8degrees celcius, wouldn't this possibly cause condensation and maybe germinate the seeds?

Yea bugger off lol, because I only realized my problem once we went over the possible factors and it wasn't any of them, I did remove the ballast from the room today. But I can't say it helped cause today was a cool day and temps sat at 26c

I been running the hps for over a week 18hrs a day it's never switched off tho

So I bought a 1000w MH bulb and it had like white stuff and glue in it and it would turn off after 5mins, they replaced it with one with the same problem, and now they went through all their stock and gave me their (best looking MH bulb) as well as a free dual ark bulb, my question is does...

No I can't go cheap on anything, these are the reasons I always have a test grow before I fix anything to their place, things always need work... Thanks for the advice buddy!

#general question. How do you vent your grow room without removing all the dehumidified air and replacing it with humidity ? (for the sake of fresh air not cooling)

Why are people swaying me to change my light source? I've chosen hid lights for a reason, they produce the best buds, I've seen some impressive yields from Led but it's not the same as hps.. And my heat problem is not from the light source
