This is exactly what I'm doing too. the top fan is always spinning and I've got two layers of fine mesh cloth over the bottom vent to stop bug attacks.

Can anyone tell me what's meant to go in the bottom of these Air Pots? I saw in a video the holes are pretty big at the bottom, so what should go in there to stop soil falling through? Also, do I still need perlite mixed in?

The 20L (4.3 gallon) is about £8 in the UK + delivery charge.

Brill, thanks for the replies. I think i'll grow till mid-veg and then transplant to a large fabric pot cos that's what I have. If it's too much of a pain in the ass, I won't to it again. :D

I got a 60 x 60 x 140 tent but later regretted it for both height and width. Sweet spot for me would have been 80 x 80 x 160 (or 180).

I actually had a steel mesh under the pot, between it and the saucer. Water never sat at the bottom and any run-through I had was cleaned up. I think the biggest issue was my over-watering. Still don't know for sure what i'm meant to give at different stages of life-cycle.

This is exactly what I got about 4 weeks before harvest. Sorry I don't have the answer for you but interested to see what people say.
