    Over-Defoliation Technique

Very far. this cultivar's nodes were too spaced. No CO2. I also think I did more harm than good with the defoliation in this circumstance because my canopy was not dense enough. If you're trying this technique for the first time I would recommend leaving a couple of big fan leaves on just to be...

    Fungus Gnats

Also, update for everyone. I guess you could consider this a bit of a case study since I tried almost every popular solution to gnats. The only thing that worked was adding microbes back into the soil and using BTI!! Plants are as happy as ever. Thank you to everyone who offered their advice!

    Fungus Gnats

My room is not fully sealed so gnats can fly in as they please. My last run was organic and I had no issues with the gnats - I would let the soil dry out once and they'd be gone. This is my first 100% synthetic run and it's so difficult to shake them. I'm sure it has to do with this. I run...

    Fungus Gnats

I'll give this a go. Sulfur is hard to come by where I live but I will start to look for it. Would be nice to use it as a dunk every time I re-pot my girls. Think I'm going to let my medium dry out. Try to catch the majority of the big ones with yellow stickies and apple cider vinegar. Drench...

    Fungus Gnats

Yeah man, this Is why I love organic no-till so much. It's so much less hassle. Unfortunately, it's a bit more difficult for high output and commercialization which is why I'm trying out the synthetic runs.

    Fungus Gnats

Love the enthusiasm. So you think it would be more beneficial for me not to add any organics back into the system and just continue with H2O2 and BTI? Also, have you had to do this for 30 days before?

    Fungus Gnats

Update. Hydrogen Peroxide does not work as a long-term solution. It dialed down the gnats significantly for some time but it appears a new set has spawned. I read that the gnat larvae life cycle was 3 - 4 days so I watered with hydrogen peroxide one day and without the other. Maybe the regular...

What do you guys think about my girls are they ok?

Yep - same setup as you. Granted all the cola's weren't as photogenic as that one :p

What do you guys think about my girls are they ok?

I've done pure coco pearlite runs with organic nutrients - pride lands veg and bloom plus teas. AMAZING Results. buds were stupid flavorful. no problems - just need to watch the calmag. People will tell you you can't do things because they've never done it. An example of what organics in coco...
