Hiya Im gonna run my tent through the summer. It can get pretty hot here, 95°F+ isnt unusual so i plan on buying an AC unit and im wondering what effect this has on humidity. Quick google say yes AC units will lower RH which is good. Can anyone confirm this? Thanks!!

Ok thanks for the thoughts guys. Just ordered my first bar set up, going the Alibaba route cos im broke...to be honest i have a cheap chinese QB board with a mix of 3/500k diodes plus some 660s and a few UV/IR diodes and i havent been blown away by that so im taking a bit of a punt on this one...

Hi Is one better than the other? Diodes are diodes right, if you have some 301bs and some 660s, 730s etc in whatever configuration it shouldn't really matter right? Everything seems to be bars in favour of boards, I just wondered if there's any reason they perform better? Thanks!

Yeah it could be. You really need a pH and EC meter. Spend as much as you can. Critical bit of kit. But those lower single leafs always go yellow and drop off, rest of the plant doesnt look too bad.

PH unknown - dude that's not going to do you any favours. Even the cheap ebay yellow $5 pH pens are better than nothing.

If i measure my rez as 600 one day and 500 the next then i assume my ppm has dropped. And vice versa. As long as im not taking different readings with different pens...

Weird things going on in bucket. After switching to bloom butes, pH shot up from 6 to 7, ppm dropped from 520 to 330 in 24 hours which is a huge drop. Also noticed spme rusty spots on the very top leaves. Possibly from the pH too high, i dunno. But it looks more like a Ca issue than a Mg issue...

Ca 2.4% Mg 2%. You think im better off using the epsom salts rather than CalMag?

Switched over to bloom nutes today gave her 520ppm. I think the shot of epsom salts did her some good and shes looking OK, a bit gangly for my liking but Im a sativa guy so thats par for the course i guess.
