    Dab equipment selection

Hi Cannab, definitely the cheapest way to do it but I'm looking for something that will be keeping it at a steady temperature. What you suggest is excellent method but not right for my goal. Curious, Thanks, I'll take a look.

    Dab equipment selection

Hi, Not sure if this is the best forum to ask in but it seems like it. I'm interested in getting a dab unit and have been trying to figure out what I need to order. I'd like to get the least expensive that does an excellent job & I'm not interested in fancy, just effective and easy to take care...

    CXB3590 & leaf yellowing

The feed strengths have been followed exactly by the recommended feeding by Heavy16 & Aptus. The PPM ranges around 1100. With that, I have two feedings a week and with watering I add Cal-Mag and SeaGreen & correct the pH as needed. At first the plants (leaves) were perfect and were up to 1/2 the...

    CXB3590 & leaf yellowing

I've had fine results with bud and Tricome production using CXB3590 with 2700K, 3000K and 3500K but I have experienced a tremendous amount of yellowing of all of the larger leaves. This has happened with Ocean forest soil and with Coco. PPM has been low, Using Cal-Mag throughout in keeping...

    Small bright yellow spots

I hear what you're saying. It's a dilemma; either I cut back on nutes and add cal mag to keep the PPM correct or, I add more water & use deionized to cut back on PPM. Tough call. & thanks for the reply

    Small bright yellow spots

Thanks for the reply. I just started adding calmag, I don't want to burn the plants with too much nutrients. For instance; the 2nd week of bloom gets .8mg fascilitor, 9 ml Bud A & 9ml bud B, .8ml bloomboost, 1ml peakboost, 2ml massboost and 1ml ecozin per gallon. I've been concerned that the...

    Small bright yellow spots

Hi, Any idea what might be causing these yellow spots? There are some small bright yellow ones but many of the leaves are also yellowed but lighter yellow and mixed with green. I see no insects and have been using Aptus and Bud A & B. This is about 2 weeks into bloom. I'm using coco for the...

    Vaping newbie

War & Growin, Thanks for the pointers, I'll look for those. As to the vaping, I think it was straight oil, I could see it in a glass chamber and all I needed to do was suck on the "cig". Today it's old technology but it was a first for me and it was very nice.

    Vaping newbie

My apologies for asking what might well be an old & well worn out topic. I have difficulties with smoke in that it makes me cough and more, it reminds me too much of my cigarette days that I should avoid smoking it. I prefer to ingest rather than smoke for those reasons. After trying vaping...

REALSTYLES 6th DIY CXA 3590 5000k DB bin

@ Yoda "I still does not understand that is why you used all 72v instead of 36v" I'm not an authority in the least on these lights. I do know volts times amps = watts so a 36 volt COB will require twice the amps that a 72V COB requires to give the same watts. Either way, the power dissipation...

Hi, I've been following your thread on Trichomes and Harvesting. You've3 offered some very helpful info and I'm trying to understand if my trichomes are cloudy or if it's just lighting, I'm seeing no amber but according to the Aptus based chart I was given, it's supposed to be one more week of...

    Trichomes & Harvesting

How does this look? it's week 8 of bloom, Cherry Pie with one week of nutes ahead and one week of water till harvest. Must have some fert issues, the largest fan leaves are turning red, small fans are still looking just fine. The top leaves are curling inwards (Canoeing?) but the temp inside...

C02 Calculator ~ Calculate How Long to Run your CO2 Tank

A helpful thread for me, My tent is 4'x4'x6.5' and I'm using COBs. With no circulation and 400W of COBs, the temp never goes over 82 degrees. I keep the doors closed except when feeding/watering. I've got one of the solenoid regulator/valves for a CO2 tank, this model...

    Interested in Coco with Aptus.

After looking into Aptus I decided the cost is not that much, considering how little is being used at one time. It seems like those who use it are all more than happy with the results. So I bought the line and have used it with Ocean Forest soil. I'm always looking for something new to try out...

    CXB3590 1500W

@ Supra, as to my last post on page 30, where I was wondering what values of COB to go with my existing panels, what do you suggest? I was thinking this: 3000K 3500K 3000K 3500K 2700K 2700K 2700K 2700K 3500K 3000K 3500K 3000K I would appreciate suggestions if the 2700K is not my best choice...

    CXB3590 1500W

One thing for sure is the different color COBs are obvious. the 5000K for Veg is much brighter than the 3500K and that one is brighter than the 3000K. The 3000K just doesn't seem to have the aggressiveness of the higher temp COBs. I'm guessing the 2700K would appear dimmer but dimmer might be a...
