I went with jacks 321. No experience with it yet. Just seen tons of people recommending it. Plus seems easy enough to mix.

Good thing is a pump and tubing shouldn't cost me more than $30 It does. I think I have an idea of what's going on here, do you have more info? I would love to use a setup with less water involved (but still hydroponics). It's my first grow and I'm already worried about warm water temps.

Yeah I have it filled now and can't see any water moving or anything like that. Like you say it seems like a "check" res to me.

Thanks, if I do keep it as a passive setup, would I just be mixing nutes/correcting PH via grow buckets + res or will adding to the res spread it through to the grow buckets (eventually).

Thanks. So my plan is to buy a submersible pump, add to the res, pump/lift water through a hose that feeds to the top of the grow buckets? Basically the waterfall method? Good thing is the buckets already have openings on the lid for this.

I'll see if I can get a refund. I guess if anything I can just run regular DWC or just run the res and 2 grow buckets and just add nutrients to all 3 buckets. It'll just literally be a feeder bucket it seems. Thoughts?

I bought a vevor DWC kit and it came with a reservoir. The reservoir has just 1 outlet and then a water indicator leveler. It just connects to four 5 gallon buckets. I'm guessing I'm just using it as strictly a reservoir since it didn't come with a pump? Anyone run into this before and have any...
