Yea well if I had a 600 w for every 8 plants, meaning 32 plants for 4 600watters - I think that would do that job, wouldn't it? Cus Buying 4 1k lamps is a bit too expensive and it will surely be too noticeable on the electricity bill.... :\

Ok, because honestly - I have no idea how I would set up a cooling system for the lights... Maybe the money would be better invested in ventilating the WHOLE grow room instead. Also one thing - if I put the lamps closer, doesn't that narrow the spectrum of the light reaching the other plants...

Which set up would you chose if you wanted to grow around 30 - 40 plants? Don't the 1k lamps have more effectiveness, more lumens/m² ? Also, is it true that instead of having lots of plants, I could get the same yield just by having less plants and using more powerful lights? Thanks

Ok, so I think I'll have a duct system to cool the lamps, as well as a separate duct set up (with a carbon filter) to circulate the overall air in the grow room. With that said, I don't know the exact measurements of the grow room yet - me and my buddy are looking to rent out a weekend house...

SOG is Indeed screen of green, right? Or am I confusing that with SCROG lol.. Alright well I see what you mean and I think you're right. I did a 2 month veg on my last grow, but I only had 6 plants anyway (plus the veg lamp was a 250w....)

That looks great! I'm thinking of doing SCROG as well, but me and my buddy really want the plants to be massive, so we're thinking of giving them 2 months of veg time... Which makes me think that SCROG wouldn't be possible - especially with +30 plants, also if we're going to top and fim...
