coco has soo much salt in ity naturally that it will surely kill your plants unless you soak and rinse it like 20 times and even that may not be enough... after rinsing all the salt out you would need to buffer it.

Yes, you should add nutes everytime just like any other type of hydro. I have a detailed post about watering coco somewhere back there but according to canna, the proper time to water is when the coco has lost half its water weight. Meaning that after you water the plant and it has drained you...

No not really any big problems that u need to worry about, but its definitely not helping anything and it may be hurting the final yield slightly. You shouldnt wait until it appears dry but even if you did, it is actually not as dry as it looks. Coco can hold ten times its weight in water, so if...

yea silica is good... just go easy on it cuz it contain K and so does the coco so this can cause lockouts and or burns... You can use it as a foliar if you want but it raises the pH a lot... No matter how you use it, just be sure to add it before your other nutrients or you will get clouding and...

Looks like u got several deficiencies going on Mg N and possible Ca P... Probably partially from lock out due to your high pH, but I also think you may need to raise the strength of your nutes unless you have experienced fert burn at higher a EC. Also, a few heavy waterings with the nutrient...

In hydroponic grows you have to feed often to get optimal yields. Although its kinda true that you're wasting nutrients by watering everyday because a lot of the nutrients won't be absorbed everytime... It is also true that your yields will also be larger if you water everyday. If you are only...

-coco isnt soil, it's shredded coconut coir fiber. -yes add nutes everytime u water. -I wouldnt worry about flushing, just mix up your nutrients at normal strength and adjust the ph to aprox. 5.8, then water enough that u get a good amount of run off. I cant remember any details about fox farm...

g37, If you start adding nutes everytime you water then i think your issues will clear up... you also have a calcium def so i would add a little more cal/mag then you have been using... try 200-250 ppm's.

yes I would start using it at half strength now... if you are using the A/B at full strength then u may want to cut it back a little as you introduce the PK 13/14. PK products with ratios like 19/8 are better suited for finishing (last 3 weeks of flower) Almost any common flowering...

Not that I have ever seen... there is nothing special about the stuff other then it is on the cheap end... It should work just fine as long as you have a "drain to waste" system and get plenty of run off... You will most definitely need to supplement with cal/mag when using it in coco. Here is...

Sounds like calcium/magnesium issues iz4 (brown, amber spots)... Could be caused by your pH or your tap water could be too hard, or you could just need to add some cal/mag. Magnesium issues are very common in coco, and Calcium can be a issue as well.

You are right to think that "seedlings" shouldnt need hardly any nutrients, if any at all... But I do recommend using a light dose just to assure your coco's microbes and buffers are kept nice and happy and also so that the nutrients are there when the plant does need them. Be careful about...

Sorry if i missed some of your guys questions but ive been super busy lately... just 2 give my 2 cents: Coco is hydro and should be treated as such for the most part. The Canna Coco label says to feed the coco 1-6 times a day... Feeding often will increase yield, and as long as you're getting...
