i've actually got a 5 gal. jug of that Nova stuff... but its all goopy and stuff... seems like its meant for a soil grow with plenty of bioligicals to make the nutes bio-available. I had problems using it in a perlite setup, seemed like the plants were having a hard time using it - so i went...

I never realized how many Anti-DWC people there were... if the last few posts are any indication... a whole barrel of monkeys has come away from DWC with a bad taste in their mouth. I'll deffinitely hold off for now and just change up the system Via a different media and much more frequent...

it could be my choice of media as much as the hydro setup itself. perlite, i'm finding, is deffinitely not ideal for an ebb 'n flow setup. I only water 3x per week... and the media can still stay too water-logged between waterings. Perhaps i should have tried a pure coco run before changing...

Ja, no such thing as 'too much light'... many "tree" growers are running more lights than they have plants in vertical setups, ie; 10k HPS to only 10 plants or less. The run-off that you are checking is deffinitely a good idea... but it's still got to be hard to perfectly gage the conditions...
