Purging: Cant get full Vac :(

2,000 isn't a crazy number when your in a friendly state. As for idiot investors, that's more common then you'd think too. I know a few people that got extra money flipping houses and the first thing they did was invest in a grow op. Everyone I know hires their friends, not "experts." Not saying...

New to growing, a few questions :)

If your thinking of going with soil start in one gallon containers and fill it with a seed starting mix. After a month switch to regular potting soil for containers. Don't feed the plants until they ask for it and then start slow. The brands of fertilizer/nutrients and soil sold at hydro...

    First time growing

Just run your lighting and equipment for 48 hours to see how hot it gets. You can also practice with lettuce seeds. Their super cheap and sprout quickly. No worries about excess lumens. Can't kill seeds with to much lighting. I personally use a 200w CFL. Now to avoid stretching stems keep them...

SICK of not having any hookups

Sorry man. If you could grow outside, two plants would be more then enough to get you through the year.

    outdoor soil mix

Do a soil test first and see what your missing and what the ph is. If the soil doesn't drain well or drains to fast then add coir or peat moss. Shouldn't need perlite. Thats usually reserved for containers and raised beds.

Freshwater Fish tank water as nutrient supplement?

I guess I must be the only one that tried it and didn't come away impressed. Its a smart way to use water that would otherwise be thrown down the drain, but that's it. I wouldn't encourage anyone to go out and buy an aquarium just to do this. However if you already own one and enjoy raising...

    What about this soil??

Ideally you'd want two potting soils. One for the seedling phase and one regular blend that's rich in organic matter. The brand really doesn't matter. I've tested so many soils, the difference is always really tiny. For seedlings you want no manure or meals, just coir or peat moss based mediums...

How should i go about topping or Fim in the right way?

Just don't do it to all your plants. Try it with one to see if you like it. Definitely grow one plant as naturally as possible to see what your working with and to compare to others.

Alaska fertilizer is great stuff for the money but ideal for soil gardens. In hydro it won't dissolve enough.

Best strain with ONE BIG COLA!!!!

Sativa grows track like x mass tree but very branch y and very tall. I wouldn't recommend them for a reliable single cola. Plus they give small buds. India's are shorter but more dense

Best strain with ONE BIG COLA!!!!

India dominate strains should give you that. Hybrids can be hit or miss. Like OG#18, I grew this strain last year. Some clones went into a raised bed spaced twelve inches apart. These soil had the x mass tree look, while the one that went directly in the ground was super branchy with over three...

How can I grow denser buds??

I've been growing outdoors for years and I'm still not 100% sure. Each year I grow a few different strains and sometimes a strain just doesn't look as good as the others. In my case I think climate and genetics play the biggest role. Indoors I might blame lighting, but I can't use that excuse...

:( My soil has no nitrogen. What should i do, i just spent the last of my money.

I've gone a whole year without fertilizer with Sativa strains. You just need lots of soil. As the organic matter brakes down it releases NPK in almost equal amounts. How much soil are you working with and is it fresh or has it been used? it's a myth that cannabis is a heavy feeder. it's a...

    Help please??

Pots will need frequent water and feedings. A small garden bed or a large mound would be more forgiving and easier. But that means sticking with conventional organic and synthetic fertilizers and not using the cool hydroponic nutrients. Easiest way to grow is a raised bed. Build one yourself...

What magnification is that? To me that's almost perfect. I like being able to see a wide area, even though it means giving up some detail. I use 10x Jeweler's loupe by Belomo.

I have been sending them to my house for years. Local police know I am a grower. They dont know where or how I get my plants. They only care about how many plants I have and that I have a dr note.

Growing in a Pot on the Porch

Take a pair of sharp scissors and cut away all but the strongest one. Go back to Wal-Mart and pick out a cheap fertilizer and large container. When Looking at the fertilizers find the NPK numbers. Ideally find something with the same number number across the board (example npk: 4-4-4). Can't...
